1. What is your reaction to this app?
2. Is there anything you would add to it to make it better?
3. Is there anything you would take away from it to make it better?
On the notecard I wrote:
"I am creating an app called Scores and Stats Now. It is an app that allows you to find scores and statistics on players at the high school, collegiate and professional level. Not all high school sports will be included but major ones like football, basketball, and soccer will be. You will be able to customize the teams and players you follow in order to get push notifications about players and the teams. This would be a free app with advertisements or you could pay $1.99 in order for there to be no advertisements"
I felt that this way of interviewing got the most honest answers from the interviewees. They truly told me what they thought was beneficial and what they thought was unneeded. I feel that from these interviews I may make the app more college and professional related instead of having any high school information on it. I may also not have the ability to charge people for it because I feel that I will get more advertisements that are related to sports if the companies know all people are viewing it instead of just people that didn't feel like paying for the app.
Below are my five interviews:
Leigha,
ReplyDeleteBeing an avid sports fan, I am a huge fan of your idea. I do agree that high school information would be hard to get from all around the country so I would definitely stick to professional and college athletes. I believe stats are the center of sports for the most part and almost a game in the game, so I think you're really onto something.
Hi Leigha!
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of having sports stats in an app! High school sports may be hard to find, so the professional and college route may be the way to go. I think you could make this very cool and user friendly for all avid sports fans. Great job! Here are my interviews: http://jenniecarmody.blogspot.com/2016/02/interviewing-customers-no-3.html
Hey Leigh, I really like your interviewing strategy. I also had an app idea and I had drawn out the app like you but I actually only showed one person that I interviewed. I can learn a lot from your organized method and consistency. Here's mine http://lfrancie.blogspot.com/2016/02/customer-interview-no-3.html
ReplyDeleteLeigh,
ReplyDeleteI think this idea for an app definitely fills an opportunity in an open market. I know that high school scores are scattered among various websites and outlets, but having one outlet with all the information will be a great service to the people.
